Overview

GovCIO is currently hiring for a Command and Control Systems Analyst to provide support at Camp Pendleton, CA.

 

The I Marine Expeditionary Force Command Element (I MEF CE) is procuring Technical Support Services for the G-61 Communications Section.

 

The I MEF G-61 Communications Section assists and advises the I MEF commander in matters pertaining to operational communications support to I MEF forces including necessary liaison with external commands and other DOD agencies for communications coordination, support, equipment, and training. The I MEF G-61 Communications Section provides integrated communications planning, coordination, control, and management for communications and information systems within I MEF to maximize business process automation, information management, operational support, combat readiness, and sustainment.

Responsibilities

  • Support C2 integration team in support of l MEF operations in garrison and tactical environments.
  • Provide ad-hoc support to active tools and applications based on I MEF staff and MSCs to support information exchange requirements and staff processes in the garrison environment.
  • Provide subject matter expertise concerning emerging technologies to support command and control systems integration support to aid the IMO and I MEF Staff.
  • Develop software solutions using programming languages such as JavaScript, HTML and CSS to provide enhanced user experiences and increase the availability of information for decision making.
  • Consult with IMO, system users, and stakeholders, such as uniformed, civilian, and contractor personnel within I MEF and its MSCs, to design software based on systems flows, data usage, and work processes.
  • Develop, debug, test, and deploy software solutions on production environment.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

High School with 6-9 years of experience

Clearance:  SECRET

  • 8+ years' experience as a Company Grade Officer military experience, (active) at an operational or joint level specifically at the MEF Major Subordinate Command (MSC) or Marine Forces (MARFOR) Level. Equivalent Company Grade Officer experience at a sister service Operational Planning level is acceptable.
  • 4+ years of IT project management experience, concurrent with 8+ years, supporting customer solution development and resolution.
  • WS Certified Developer Associate Certificate or comparable cloud-based certification.
  • Active or interim SECRET clearance.
  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Fundamentals (Exam MS-900) or Amazon Web Services (A WS) Cloud Practitioner Certification.
  • Adhere to DoD 8570.01-M and poses the requisite certification per DoDD 8140.01, Cyberspace Workforce Management dated 10/5/2020.

The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process.
