Health Service Expert David Ruskin Recognized for Achievements that
Advance Business and Citizen Interaction
FAIRFAX, VA – June 1, 2017 – Salient CRGT’s David Ruskin was recognized as the winner for the “Emerging Leader of the Year – Industry” category in the 2017 AFCEA Bethesda Chapter’s 10th Annual InnovateIT Awards. Salient CRGT is a leading provider of health, data analytics, cloud, agile software development, mobility, cyber security, and infrastructure solutions.
As innovation continues to change government technology for the better, these awards honor individuals or groups whose contributions to information technology have significance beyond their organizations. These contributions advance business and citizen interactions, leading to improved effectiveness and cost-savings, and serve as a model of excellence government-wide.
Mr. Ruskin’s #ThinkProcess Campaign focuses on identifying, defining, and enhancing processes so they can be effectively targeted to improve outcomes. The video-based campaign is designed to inspire and empower process owners to participate in process improvement activities, and fosters a culture of accountability within agencies regarding waste awareness and reduction. Using a “Plan-Do-Check-Adjust” methodology, a continuous process improvement cycle is created, standards are established, and quality and efficiency are improved.
“Think Process is a team effort, supported by talented and passionate members of our Health Services Division. I don’t view this as an individual award,” said David Ruskin, Deputy Program Manager, Health Services for Salient CRGT. “Rather, this recognizes our innovative approach to establishing a culture of process improvement, as well as the notable cost savings and efficiencies our customer achieved as a result.”
Mr. Ruskin’s work focuses on driving innovation and cost efficiencies as they advance information technology initiatives of government organizations. Mr. Ruskin has over 11 years of consulting experience in the diverse fields of clinical care, program management, strategy, policy, research, finance, informatics, education, and business process improvement and program operations. He oversees the delivery of a full spectrum of health services that support customers with their most vital and challenging objectives. Click to see the video.
